By downloading or using Momo ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Use of the App
Momo is a food logging application that allows you to track meals using voice input. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
You agree to:
- Use the app only for its intended purpose of food logging
- Provide accurate information when logging food entries
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Not use the app for any unlawful purpose
Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement
Momo is licensed to you subject to the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You can review the Standard EULA at: Apple Standard EULA .
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA shall govern with respect to your use of the app as a Licensed Application.
Nutritional Information
Momo provides nutritional information from multiple databases and user-created custom foods. While we strive for accuracy:
- Nutritional values are estimates and may vary from actual values
- The app is not intended for medical or clinical nutrition purposes
- You should consult a healthcare professional for dietary advice
- We are not responsible for decisions made based on the app's nutritional data
Data Sources & Attribution
Momo uses nutritional data from the following sources:
- USDA FoodData Central — U.S. Department of Agriculture. Public domain.
- Livsmedelsverket — Swedish Food Agency (Livsmedelsverket). Swedish national food composition database.
- Fineli — Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). Finnish food composition database. Licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY 4.0).
Voice Recognition
The app uses on-device speech recognition for voice input. Voice recognition accuracy may vary based on:
- Ambient noise and audio quality
- Accent and pronunciation
- Network conditions (for certain features)
You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any misrecognized food entries.
Intellectual Property
Momo and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy of nutritional information
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the app
- Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in nutritional content
- Any unauthorized access to your device data
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the app
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app will cease immediately.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
